Heilongjiang to open 400 public kindergartens
Heilongjiang has issued an action plan for preschool education that will lead to the building and renovating of a batch of public kindergartens in the province.
By 2020, the number of newly-built and renovated kindergartens will reach more than 400, according to the action plan.
Most of the kindergartens will be built in counties and suburban districts.
The action plan urges State-owned companies and organizations to enact specific measures to promote the development of kindergartens.
By the end of 2015, there were about 530,000 students studying in the province’s kindergartens.
