Hanan Industrial New Town

The Hanan Industrial New Town is in the southern part of the capital of Heilongjiang province in China’s northeast. It has a total planned area of 462 square kilometers, including a economic development zone.
It has a planned wedge-shaped greenbelt of 76 square kilometers, and a total of 16 sq km of state-level agricultural demonstration zone.
The construction is divided into two phases - the short term phase lasted from 2010 to 2012, and involved 55.2 sq km, and the long-term phase is underway from this year to 2030, and will fully develop the remaining280.1 sq km. It is set to become an important industrial and cultural town.
