Heilongjiang Provincial Cancer Center established in Harbin

Heilongjiang Provincial Cancer Center was established in the Tumor Hospital Affiliated to Harbin Medical University on Sept 2.
The center was approved by the Health and Family Planning Commission of Heilongjiang province in April 2013; and officially commences operation starting on Sept 2, 2018.
The center will take advantage of the rich tumor treatment experience and practice of the Tumor Hospital Affiliated to Harbin Medical University to establish a tumor screening, prevention and treatment network, providing professional medical services to residents in Heilongjiang province.
The Tumor Hospital Affiliated to Harbin Medical University is the only hospital in Heilongjiang province to be engaged in cancer prevention, treatment, teaching and scientific research, with up to 495,000 patients per year.
