With temperature in Yabuli dropping to around zero degrees Celsius in late October, Yabuli Sports Training Base started artificial snow-making to make preparations for winter sports that are scheduled to be held in mid November.

Yabuli Sports Training Base is a national-level training center for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

In addition to traditional winter sports training facilities, a total of five projects will be renovated or established this year, including a training field for the National Alpine Skiing Team, a snowboarding field, the K60 and K90 ski jump platforms and cross-country snow tracks.

All the projects will be finished and put into use between mid November and late December.

Currently, snow-making starts from the peak of Daguokui Mountain and will gradually extend downhill.
