Winter sports promotion activity takes place in Heilongjiang

An activity with the goal of promoting winter sports to the public took place in Hulan Estuary Wetland Park of Harbin, Heilongjiang province on Jan 12.
The activity was sponsored by the General Administration of Sport of China and organized by Heilongjiang Sports Bureau and the Heilongjiang Sports Federation.
Over 2,000 tourists from Tianjin, Qingdao, Gansu and Guizhou took part in the activity, taking part in winter sports such as ice dragon boat races, snowfield kite flying, hiking, snowfield soccer and snow volleyball.
It was the third consecutive year that Heilongjiang held this kind of event. Over the past three years, around 44 million people have participated in winter sports thanks to the promotion by Heilongjiang.

The autumn schedule for power grid maintenance in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province concluded on Oct 30.
The High People’s Court of Heilongjiang province officially launched Thunderbolt Action.
About 10 government departments in Daoli district, Harbin, Heilongjiang province, carried out joint enforcement June 1 to remove more than 20 illegal constructions with a total area of over 2000 square meters to advance an expropriation project.
Harbin has seen a dramatic reduction in traffic congestion, according to statistics released by Amap, a Chinese navigation service provider.
