Wang Liang, head of a Chinese restaurant in London, returned to see his family this summer. He said: “I haven’t dreamed of buying a house in the west of Harbin. It has changed so much it’s unrecognizable. Now, the traffic is very convenient. I can go shopping easily and my child can go to school without walking too long.”

Zhang Xu, studying for a master’s degree in South Carolina, USA, said that the speed of development in Harbin surprised him. The well-organized traffic has further convinced him to return to China after graduation.
