Picturesque Landscape, the latest musical piece by a first-class State composer, sounded the splendid melody of the motherland by eulogizing its picturesque landscape at the opening of the concert.

The native musicians showcased their deep love to Harbin from various aspects.

Composer Yang Renyi interpreted the “summer capital” in Festivals, Er’Mao brought the fairy tale of an “Ice City” alive in the Polka-style The Happy Snowman, and Yang Yibo showed a modern and fashionable Harbin in Dancing Music in Alejin (“Alejin” means honor in the Jurchen language and is the ancient name of the Acheng area in Harbin).

To express the strong emotion towards the fertile soil of Northeast China, musicians played renditions including Passion for Black Soil and Dream Arises from Black Soil.

Sponsored by the Chinese Musicians Association, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, and the propaganda department of the CPC Harbin municipal committee, the concert ended with the music from Ode to the Motherland, when audiences send their best wishes to the birthday of the motherland by singing together.
