Harbin endeavors to ensure its senior citizens have a comfortable elderly time

From a regular shuttle bus to free check-ups at hospital, the Pingfang district in the city of Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, has developed many projects to help its senior citizens enjoy a healthy and happy retirement.
The local government also introduced some activities in late September to help its senior citizens celebrate the upcoming Double 9, or Chongyang Festival, China’s first official festival for the elderly, on Oct 2 this year.
