‘Clean plate challenge’ campaign launches in Harbin

The “clean plate challenge” in “Hope” kitchens among “Hope” primary schools in Heilongjiang was launched at Tongxin Lizhu Hope Primary School in Acheng district, Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, on Oct 13.
Sponsored by the provincial Youth Development Foundation (YDF) and organized by the education bureau of Acheng district, the campaign aims to reduce food waste and encourage students to cherish food and appreciate the meaning of “every grain comes from hard work,” while enjoying a healthy and safe diet in the Hope kitchens.
