Harbin starts new flight schedules

The airport in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, started using a new flight schedule for winter and spring starting Oct 26, according to the city’s CAAC office.

A total of 1,081 flights are scheduled at the airport per week, a year-on-year growth of 16.67 percent with 130 flights added.

According to the new timetable, Harbin Taiping Airport opened 15 new terminals, including national cities of Hailaer, Lanzhou, Datong and Qinhuangdao and international cities of Moscow and Cheongju. The airport has also added 39 domestic air routes, as well as added flights to hotspot cities in China, such as Sanya, Hangzhou, Qingdao and Nanjing.

There have also been some adjustments to the timetable of flights. The departure times of some flights have changed significantly, including flight 3U8686 to Changsha, 3U8854 to Xuzhou and HU7352 to Nanchang. Their departures have changed from 3:55 pm to 8:35 am, 2:45 pm to 8:15 am, and 2:25 pm to 1:50 pm, respectively.
