Governors of Heilongjiang province unveiled a plaque for the Heilongjiang Green Food Trading Center at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Heilongjiang Organic Food Expo at the Harbin International Exhibition Center Stadium on Sept 26.
With an exhibition area of 28,500 square meters, the expo has attracted more than 600 food enterprises and over 300 suppliers.
Themed “Green Heilongjiang, breadbasket of China”, the expo offers over 6000 green agricultural products including cereals & oil-based foods, alcoholic drinks and animal by-products.
Match-making between agricultural cooperatives and production enterprises, as well as the promotion of a cold-chain logistics system have been initiated at the event in an effort to build a "one-stop" platform for the purchase and sale of related companies.
