Northeast China exporting aircraft to Nepal

The Harbin Aircraft Industry Group, in the city of Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province delivered an 18-seater Harbin Y12E plane to the Nepal Airlines Corp (NAC), on Nov 3, following up on an agreement that Chinese signed with NAC, on Dec 28, 2013, on six Chinese planes.
The agreement gave Nepal one Harbin Y12E and one 58-seater Modern Ark 60 (MA60) on grant and three Y12Es and an MA60 on loan with the Nov 3 delivery covering the first. The other four will be transferred to Nepal in the near future.
Harbin Aircraft was originally established in 1952 to manufacture planes for domestic use but the Group have since sold many planes to foreign countries such as Nepal and Kenya.
