Harbin forum sheds insight into new quality productive forces development

The one-day forum attracted the participation of officials, experts, industrial parks, universities, research institutes, and enterprises.
It focused on the coordinated development of traditional, emerging, and future industries, aiming to stimulate investment attraction and support high-quality economic development.
During the forum, Han Dapeng, deputy general manager of the Harbin New Area Investment Promotion Group, introduced that the Harbin New Area currently houses 1,281 high-tech enterprises and 23 universities with over 200,000 students. It is also home to 32 incubators above the provincial level, six national-level incubators, and 18 academic workstations.
In 2023, Harbin New Area accomplished 243 scientific and technological achievements locally, establishing itself as a hub for leading Heilongjiang's development and facilitating the transformation of further accomplishments.
The forum also saw the launch of the China (Heihe) Cold Region Test Drive Index and the Smart Travel Joint Innovation Laboratory.
China Economic Information Service also unveiled the National Digital Economy Map 2.0 and the Top 100 Counties in Industrial R&D Competitiveness. This provides data empowerment for the tailored development of new quality productive forces across regions and industries.
At the signing ceremony, China Economic Information Service, Shanghai International Automobile City, and the Harbin Branch of the Industrial Bank reached cooperative intentions to support the development of new quality productive forces.
