Binxi Economic and Technological Zone

Heilongjiang provincial government approved the Binxi Economic and Technological Development Zone (宾西经济技术开发区) as a provincial development zone on Sept 11, 2002, and the State Council approved it as a national economic and technological development zone on June 26, 2010.
It is located in the south-center of Heilongjiang province, in the territory of Binxian county, a satellite town of Harbin, and also near Acheng district.
The national traffic arteries, such as the Tongjiang to Sanya highway and the Harbin to Tongjiang highway, go through the territory of the development zone.
Binxi Economic Development Zone has a planning area of 18.56 square kilometers. It has three specialized industrial parks - LED optoelectronic park, digital welding park, corn industrial park - and four leading industries: high-tech, advanced manufacturing, agricultural and sideline products processing, and modern service.
