The first graphene production line with an annual output of 300 metric tons in Heilongjiang province was established in the Harbin New Zone in the province’s capital of Harbin.

The graphene production line was invested by Heilongjiang Tangu Industry and Trade Co, formerly known as Tangshan Jianhua Industrial Group.
 
It is a leading graphene enterprise in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Its development strength in the graphene industry ranks at the forefront of the industry in the country. 
 
It has obtained more than 30 invention patents and more than 100 pieces of non-patent proprietary technology.
 
Heilongjiang Tangu Industry and Trade Co started moving into the Harbin New Zone on June 19.
 
"The biggest reason to move north is that Heilongjiang is rich in graphite mineral resources, which can provide sufficient raw materials for the development of enterprises," according to Meng Ying, the company's chairman.
 
Moreover, Heilongjiang has listed the graphite industry as one of 15 100 billion-yuan industries that are strategically developed in the province, giving it huge development potential, Meng added.
 
The graphene production line officially entered the equipment installation stage on July 20. The 300-ton graphene production line is expected to begin operating at full capacity at the end of October.
 
It will be low cost, high quality, and have good production stability. It can also be customized. 
Meng said he hopes to industrialize more than a hundred technologies developed over the past ten years in the Harbin New Zone, and then put them on the market.
