The Guosheng biological GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) production base in Harbin, the capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, was completed and put into production on Sept 20.
 
This project covers 18.5 mu (1.23 hectares) and is based on a total investment of 45 million yuan ($6.42 million).
 
The project mainly focuses on building two production lines for animal diagnostic products, namely Immunological Diagnostic Products (Category A) and Molecular Biology Diagnostic Products (Category A).
 
Meanwhile, it is equipped with supporting facilities such as quality inspection rooms and cold storage, which can produce and manufacture over 300 kinds of products, including immunological diagnostic products and molecular biology diagnostic products.
 
It will be operated by Harbin Guosheng Biological Technology Co, and will build itself into the largest production base in China for veterinary diagnostic products.
