Government officials conducted a tour of major ongoing projects in Hulan district of Harbin, capital of Northeast China’ s Heilongjiang province, on May 26.
 
The innovation-driven development, industrial structure optimization, and expansion of the district’s pillar industries were prioritized in order to cultivate new growth points.
 
The government has been actively engaged in the construction of these major projects since March this year.
 
The graphene electric boiler assembly plant project undertaken by Shenzhen GNM Tech Co was visited by the delegation. The company has reportedly developed a graphene heating film, which has been patented as a globally cutting-edge technology.
 
Officials urged the company to exploit the momentum of the new energy sector, make full use of the abundant reserves of graphite mines in the province, and provide more solutions to questions posed in the fields of heating, energy saving and environmental protection.
 
The visiting group then went to the manufacturing plant of Shengyuan Power Station Fittings Co, which is a leading production base of high-capacity, and high-current-parameter unit accessories. The company finished its production extension project last year, and was urged to upgrade its services, adopt more targeted measures, stimulate its inner vitality and promote innovation in its products and technologies.
 
Another project under the close attention of the government was the China-Russia east-route natural gas pipeline (Hulan) construction program. This will see natural gas coming from Russia and contributing to building a diversified energy supply system across the nation and to improving people’s lives.
