On May 5, Chinese online travel service provider Ctrip released its "2024 May Day Holiday Travel Summary," revealing that Harbin city ranks eighth nationwide in the growth rate of inbound tourism among provincial capitals.
 
During the May Day holiday from May 1 to 5, flight bookings to Harbin surged by 15 percent year-on-year, with top tourist sources including Beijing, Changchun, Daqing, Qiqihar, and Jiamusi.
 
Activities like camping, hiking, greenway cycling, and self-driving tour resonated with visitors who were seeking nature's embrace.
 
According to Ctrip data, attractions such as the Siberia Tiger Park, Harbin Sunac Resort, and Harbin Polarland, were popular destinations in Harbin during the holiday.
 
Moreover, this May Day holiday saw a significant influx of foreign tourists to Harbin, with a remarkable 112 percent increase in inbound tourism bookings.
