Harbin connects to San Francisco

Mellish Island, a Chinese company imported sea cucumbers from the USA, has opened a charter route between the city of Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, and San Francisco, California, for transporting more than 2,000 VIPs of the company to join a 10-day visit to the US this year.

Sponsored by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and the state government of California, guests were allowed to travel with just passports and no visas by the US Consulate in West Coast cities on their travel agenda.

The first flight, with over 200 regular customers of Mellish Island company in Harbin took off from Harbin’s Taiping International Airport, on Sept 20, embracing a new way of cross-border marketing for the manufacturer cooperate with government to open charter flight for its loyal customers’ free foreign trips.

The US’s Atlas Air, using Boeing 767 aircraft, took responsibility for the visitors during their 10-day visit.
