Russian art captivates Harbin residents

An exhibition featuring oil paintings by Russian artists opened in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, on Nov 6.
The exhibition is being held at Harbin Art Gallery and is set to last 20 days. The event is aimed at promoting the deep cultural links between Heilongjiang province and Russia.
A total of 120 paintings are on display depicting Russia’s breathtaking scenery, history and cultural traditions.
The exhibition is being sponsored by the Department of Culture of Heilongjiang Province and was organized by Harbin Art Gallery.
