Entrepreneurs from Golden Lady Fur Co and American Legend-Fur Auction House attended the launching ceremony of the Spring Bud Book House in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, on Nov 27.

Pan Hexin, president of Golden Lady Fur Co, and his business partner Dale Theisen, vice-president of American Legend, donated 100,000 yuan ($16,200) for computers, books and desks to book houses in Datong Primary School and No 6 Middle School of Anda.

The Spring Bud Project is a social welfare project launched by the All China Women's Federation and the China Children and Teenagers’ Fund in 1989 to help female dropouts in poverty-stricken areas return to school.

Pan cooperated with the Women and Children’s Foundation of Heilongjiang to join the Spring Bud program in 2009 and helped open 15 Spring Bud Classes in Harbin.
