Harbin ranks high on tourist destination list

After this year’s recent Spring Festival, the city of Harbin came in at 6th place on the list of most popular destinations in China for tour groups, according China CYTS Tours Holding, a major travel service provider.

It reported that more than two-thirds of the tour groups had couples and families of three, with people travelling on their own accounting for no more than 4-percent during this most important of Chinese festivals.
About 60 percent of the tour group tourists spent more than 8,000 yuan ($1,280) per person on average during their visit.
