NE China celebrates Halloween

The Wanda Realm Hotel in the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province, had a masquerade party with all its waiters and staff in Halloween costumes and with images of monsters and jack-o-lanterns, on Nov 2, accompanied by a charity auction to raise money for rural education.

The party, which drew in about 400 participants, gave every guest an opportunity to join a lively celebration, with the spotlight on Halloween treats, costumes, and performances. It also raised money that will go to the Wanda Children’s Foundation for education.
