Heilongjiang to hold organic food expo

The Fifth Heilongjiang Green Food Industry Expo is scheduled to be held at Harbin International Exhibition and Convention Center from Sept 22 to 26.
It was announced at a press conference held in Harbin by Heilongjiang Provincial Government on Aug 31.
This year’s event is themed on recreating a green ecological value chain, with the aim of displaying Heilongjiang’s advantages in producing organic food.
The expo includes three indoor exhibition halls, two organic food trade halls and an outdoor exhibition area, with a total exhibition area covering 68,000 square meters.
Different categories of organic foods such as dairy products and animal by-products will be on display. Consumers will have the chance to purchase the products on display at the expo.
Currently, businesses from more than 10 countries and regions, such as Malaysia, France, and Japan, have confirmed their participation at the Heilongjiang expo. Also, the expo has attracted organic food businesses from 13 provinces in China.
