Heilongjiang festival tourism generates $2.17b

Heilongjiang, as one of China’s most popular winter tourism destinations, received 12 million tourists over the seven-day Spring Festival holidays, a year-on-year increase of 6.89 percent.
Revenues generated by tourism reached 14.63 billion yuan ($2.17 billion), an increase of 7.29 percent from the previous year.
Harbin Sun Island, Harbin Ice and Snow World, Volga Manor, China Snow Town, and Arctic Village in Mohe were among the top 10 popular scenic spots in Heilongjiang. They received tourists at numbers of 51,000, 195,000, 7,400, 81,700 and 3,800 respectively.
