A special exhibition area for the elderly care industry attracted great interest when it was set up at the sixth China-Russia Expo, marking the first time the China-Russia economic and trade platform promoted matchmaking for companies in the field.
The expo, which runs from June 15-19, is being staged in the city of Harbin, in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province.
Companies from four Chinese provinces – including Heilongjiang and Sichuan -- exhibited new products and technologies for elderly care at the expo. Among the exhibits was rehabilitation medical equipment, and there were also barrier-free and intelligent devices at the expo -- all helping to encourage businesses to hold negotiations and sign deals.
Elsewhere, the progress made by Heilongjiang to promote the development of the elderly nursing industry in the province also went on display.
