Harbin, Shenzhen deepen culture industry cooperation

The Second Harbin-Shenzhen Culture Industry Strategic Cooperation Forum, part of the Second Northeast Asia Art Expo to boost regional culture exchanges, commenced in Harbin, capital city of northeastern Heilongjiang province, on July 17.
Harbin, the “Ice City” in China’s northernmost province, and Shenzhen, the outpost of reform and opening-up in southern China, established a strategic cooperation relationship advocated by the State Council in 2018 to boost industry transformation and upgrading.
This year’s forum is under the theme of “deepen strategic cooperation, boost coordinated development”.
The forum encourages scholars and experts from universities and culture institutes to come discuss the new development trajectory and innovation experience of culture industry under the current economic and social situation, and provide advice for culture exchanges in Northeast Asia region.
