Harbin Chuangbo Technology Co -- a technology innovation company based in Harbin, capital of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province -- delivered products from its first self-developed mask production line to a medical device company on April 7, a company spokesman said.
 
It is the first high-tech enterprise in Heilongjiang province to develop its own production line and deliver the masks, according to the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
 
They said it took only 19 days for the company to draw up the plans, purchase components and assemble and commission the production line.

Bao Yongjiu, deputy general manager of Harbin Chuangbo Technology Co, said that the production line his company developed can produce disposable civilian or medical protective masks, with a daily output of about 120,000 masks.
 
If the supply of material and components is sufficient, the company can build 30 production lines per month, Bao added.
 
Bao also said that the price of products made by the Harbin company is about 10 percent lower than that of similar products from China’s southern areas.
 
The company’s technicians can also go to the site for technical assistance at any time.
 
At present, one production line has already signed supply contracts and five other production lines have signed preliminary contracts.
 
The company now plans to carry out the special design and development for a N95 mask machine, followed by a children's mask production machine.
