The Zhongguancun Business Incubator in Harbin, the capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, was nominated as a national-level high-tech enterprise incubator, according to a list recently issued by the Torch Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The honor makes the Zhongguancun Business Incubator the only incubator in the province to win four national titles: the Ministry of Science and Technology National Incubator, the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovative Incubator, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology National Small and Micro-sized Entrepreneurial Innovation Demonstration Base, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security National Entrepreneurial Incubation Base.

Relying on the industrialization service platform of Harbin New Zone, the Zhongguancun Business Incubator has formed a complete innovation and entrepreneurship ecology.

Since its establishment in October 2014, it has become a technology business incubator with strong competitiveness and influence.

Until now, the Zhongguancun Business Incubator has built eight incubators in Harbin, Mudanjiang and Hegang cities.

The total incubation area has reached 179,000 square meters, and 682 incubating enterprises and 1,700 counseling service enterprises have been introduced. Also, 2,200 jobs have been created.
