The Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, a prominent platform for promoting economic and trade communication and cooperation throughout Northeast Asia, will be held both online and offline starting June 15.

This year's fair, with the theme of "technology empowers a new era, and joins hands to build a new pattern," combines exhibitions, forums, negotiation and other business activities. 

The exhibitions will include eight professional sections for technological innovation, trade in services, regional cooperation, comprehensive revitalization, brand promotion, imported goods, mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as large machinery.

To date, a total of 1,508 enterprises from 27 countries and regions have confirmed their participation in the exhibitions, displaying 5,455 kinds of products across 59 categories.

Meanwhile, the online exhibitions will include 29 VR exhibition halls for the guest of honor, Azerbaijan, and the guest of city Xiamen, as well as for Russia, Japan, South Korea and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Twenty-five government officials, representatives of industrial and commercial organizations and heads of large enterprises from 11 countries and regions will express their best wishes for the Harbin trade fair and their desire to carry out exchanges and cooperation through the fair.

Additionally, this year, service support for finance, legal consulting, intellectual property, market supervision, business environment supervision, network security supervision, certification and free trade agreements will be set up online for the first time to meet the diverse needs of participating merchants.
