A government delegation from South China's Guangdong province paid a visit to China's northernmost Heilongjiang province on Sept 11-12.
 
During the visit, the two sides signed 76 cooperation agreements worth a combined 111.48 billion yuan ($16.73 billion).
 
The signed agreements involve agriculture, the green food industry, environmental protection, equipment manufacturing, modern services, and finances.
 
This marks increased cooperation between Guangdong and Heilongjiang after the two established cooperative relations in 2017.
 
The number of cooperation projects signed between the two provinces is now 500, with a total contract value of nearly 500 billion yuan.
 
In addition to witnessing the signing of these project agreements, the Guangdong delegation visited the Shenzhen (Harbin) Industrial Park Comprehensive Exhibition Center, the key national laboratory for robotics and systems, and the key national defense discipline laboratory for aerospace agency and control technology affiliated with the Harbin Institute of Technology.
 
They visited these sites to investigate industrial project construction, technological innovation and development, and enterprise matchmaking and cooperation.
