The 2021 Harbin Snow and Ice Expo is scheduled to be held at the Harbin International Exhibition and Convention Center in Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, on Dec 17-20.

The expo is sponsored by the Harbin municipal government and organized by the Harbin committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Beijing Zhenwei Exhibitions Co.

This year's expo has the tagline "seeking development in the new pattern and revitalizing the ice and snow economy.”

A total of 14 exhibition areas covering an area of 25,000 square meters will be set up, twice the area of previous events.

The exhibited products will involve the entire ice and snow industrial chain, including ice and snow sports equipment, ski resort facilities, cold-region outdoor product, and cold-region produced food, as well as promote ice and snow tourism and ice and snow experiences.

Exhibition recruitment is currently in full swing, and many leading companies in the upper, middle and lower reaches of the ice and snow industry have confirmed their participation.

They will bring professional and forward-looking ice and snow products and design concepts.

Exhibitors from Russia, France, Canada and other countries will also be invited to the expo.

The total number of exhibitors this year is expected to be 500 – the most ever.

In addition to exhibitions, industry insiders will be able to learn about many professional pieces of equipment and systems at the expo, including the ice-making system of ice sports venues, detachable and mobile real ice rink equipment, alpine ski resort designs and equipment, and ice-breaking and snow-removal products.

For ice and snow sports enthusiasts, ski skating equipment, and outdoor cold-proof clothing and accessories will be displayed, and family consulting services will be provided for online international sports training and sports-themed winter and summer camps.

Meanwhile, the on-site VR experience area is equipped with high-definition LED screens that gather VR/AR experiences, and audiences can experience digital ice and snow technology in an immersive manner.
