The Harbin Central Kitchen Industrial Park Project officially bought 214,000 square meters of land in Daoli district in Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, on Nov 3.
 
The land will be used to build factories and facilities with a floor area of 200,000 sq m.
 
The central kitchen industrial park will be built into a high-quality food deep-processing industrial base with an intelligent central kitchen, intelligent three-dimensional cold storage, digital sorting center, cold chain food processing factory and plant factory.
 
Through the unified procurement, processing and distribution of ingredients, the project will realize the transition from cooking that relies on chefs to standardized production.
 
This transformation will not only greatly streamline the initial processing process, reduce the difficulty of operation and improve specialization, but also help companies improve their operating models, reduce production costs, and ensure food safety.
