The Faculty of Computing of the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) will deepen cooperation with China's technology giant Huawei in cultivating talent.
The two sides will jointly build courses, improve teaching models, deepen the integration of production and education, and establish an industry and talent system based on key core technologies.
They will teach students about the relevant development processes and specifications of enterprises and jointly cultivate talent with an innovative spirit, practical abilities and international vision.
This was recently revealed at an online nameplate unveiling ceremony and initiation ceremony for the "Silicon Valley Program".
Since 2019, an innovation practice base jointly established by Huawei and HIT has gradually developed.
With the recent signing of the HarmonyOS University Collaborative Education Cooperation Framework Agreement, Huawei joined the "Silicon Valley Program" of HIT's faculty of computing.
The "Silicon Valley Program" is a project meant to promote local economic development, the training of school talent, and the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
In the future, the program will build a collaborative education platform, an achievement commercialization platform and an entrepreneurial incubation platform.
