Construction of the Dongan Power New Energy Hybrid System New Base in the city of Harbin in China's northernmost Heilongjiang province has made significant progress.
 
The project is the result of cooperation between the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government and China South Industries Group Co delivered in 2021. It is expected to play an essential role in helping Harbin build a new manufacturing industrial system that is environmentally friendly and highly competitive.
 
The project is the base's first and includes buildings such as the No 5 production plant and new product trial production plants.
 
The No 5 project plant has a construction area of 35,000 square meters and is the largest single building in the first phase of the project.
 
The plant has a maximum span of 24 meters, enough space for a modern production line, and its wall structure will reserve photovoltaic equipment pivot to use solar power and reduce carbon emissions.
 
Construction on the first phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of June next year.
 
At that time, an intelligent equipment and MES system with a traceable product quality chain will be applied, raising the quality and quantity of Dongan Power' entire research and production process, according to Jiao Liheng, deputy director of the Dongan Power Installation and Test Branch.
