Huge investment projects settle in Harbin city

Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, has introduced a large number of investment projects in the first half of this year to advance the transformation and upgrading of its industries.
 
The signed project agreements are in line with Harbin's industrial layout and industry development strategy.
 
Acheng district, Shuangcheng district, Xiangfang district and Daoli district saw strong performance in attracting investment and introducing projects.
 
On May 12, Acheng district signed 13 project agreements with a total investment of 1.98 billion yuan ($297.07 million). These projects focus on such fields as intelligent manufacturing, food processing, military-civilian integration, culture and tourism, and new energy.
 
When all projects start operating, they are expected to generate a total tax revenue of 259 million yuan.
 
On May 19, Shuangcheng district signed 30 key project agreements which have broad market prospects in food processing, new energy, new materials, bioengineering, warehousing and logistics, modern animal husbandry and vocational education.
 
The total investment in the projects reached 6 billion yuan.
 
Additionally, Xiangfang district signed nine project agreements worth 5.75 billion yuan, while Daoli district signed 35 project agreements worth 23.1 billion yuan.
