Harbin confirms 12 new industrial projects

Harbin, the capital city of China’s northernmost Heilongjiang province, signed agreements for 12 industrial projects at the 2022 All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce held in the city on July 2.
 
The projects cover such fields as digital economy, ice and snow economy, headquarters economy and energy projects.
 
At the signing ceremony, the Harbin municipal government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chint Group, one of the top 100 private enterprises in China.
 
The two sides will build a carbon-neutral new energy application technology research institute in Harbin and develop cooperation in many fields, including photovoltaic power generation, distributed photovoltaics, incremental distribution networks and smart water technology.
 
The city’s Nangang district and well-known central enterprise - China Railway Construction Northern Investment and Construction Co - signed an agreement that day to build an Ice and Snow Digital Technology Park, which has the largest contract value among the projects for which agreements were signed. 
 
The park will consist of a comprehensive ice sports venue and the headquarters base of the "Ice and Snow Economy + Digital Economy" Research Institute in Harbin.
 
Other projects for which agreements were signed include a new digital intelligent industrial park construction project agreed to by Harbin’s Shuangcheng district, ZBJ.com and the China State Construction Engineering Northeast China Design Research Institute.
 
In addition, Daoli District signed a contract with Jianlong Group to build the Jianlong (Heilongjiang) R&D headquarters, while Wuchang county-level city signed an agreement with Smart Water Company (Beijing) Co to build a new pumped storage project and a new energy base project in Harbin.
