Digital economy development discussed at Heilongjiang conference

The Heilongjiang (Harbin) Digital Economy Investment Matchmaking Conference was successfully held in Harbin, capital city of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, on July 27.
The conference attracted around 300 experts, scholars and entrepreneurs involved in the domestic digital economy to discuss the bright future of Heilongjiang's digital economy.
Meanwhile, another 200,000 netizens accessed the conference through a global livestream.
During the conference, more than 100 enterprises from Heilongjiang province sought cooperation and negotiated deals with nearly 100 leading digital economy enterprises in China.
Zhang Qixiang, mayor of Harbin, delivered a speech at the conference, saying that his city is making efforts to develop itself into a regional digital economy development hub.
Zhang also expressed hope that more enterprises will make take advantage of the city's policies and set up operations there.
