China's high-tech giant Huawei has played an important role in boosting the integration of the digital economy and real economy and driving traditional industry transformation and upgrading in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province.
 
To boost the development of a digital Heilongjiang, Huawei is assisting with the digital transformation of the province’s economy in various aspects, including artificial intelligence, smart agriculture, and smart manufacturing.
 
It has also participated in Heilongjiang’s construction of 5G wide-area private network projects based on the dedicated public network, such as smart campuses and smart cities.
 
By the end of 2022, Heilongjiang is scheduled to build around 58,000 5G base stations, among which 32,000 will be constructed by Huawei.
 
During this year's World 5G Convention, which will be held from August 10 to 12 in Heilongjiang's capital city Harbin, Huawei will showcase its products and achievements with the tagline "Creating a win-win situation and lighting up the future."
 
Zhan Desheng, general manager of the Heilongjiang company of Huawei, said his company provides services in Heilongjiang province and across the whole country. 
 
His company will make corresponding exchanges and keynote speeches in nine sub-forums at the 2022 World 5G Convention.

The convention aims to bring together the latest achievements and viewpoints of global 5G development, draw a blueprint for a global system of science and technology and industrial cooperation, and build a platform for the close integration of the 5G innovation chain, industrial chain, and supply chain, according to Li Mingchun, deputy secretary-general of the Heilongjiang Provincial Government.
