A matchmaking meeting between enterprises funded by alumni of Harbin Engineering University and governments at all levels in China's northernmost Heilongjiang province was held on July 9 both online and offline.
 
A total of 60 enterprises attended the meeting, with three signing investment agreements worth 4.6 billion yuan ($690.17 million) in total.
 
Among them, Beijing Jiuqi Software Co, the Nangang district government and the Heilongjiang New Generation Information Technology Innovation Center signed a tripartite "Agreement on the Joint Construction of the Digital Government Information Platform and Industry-Education Integration".
 
Heilongjiang Communications Runda Equity Investment Fund Management Co and Shenyang Microcontrol New Energy Technology Co signed the "Cooperation Agreement on the Construction of a Flywheel Energy Storage Innovation Base in Mudanjiang City".
 
Meanwhile, Shenzhen Yuanxin Energy Storage Technology Co signed the "Cooperation Agreement on Energy Storage Equipment Manufacturing and Wind Storage Projects" with Tonghe county in the city of Harbin.

More than 1,000 alumni from Harbin Engineering University have founded, participated in and invested in more than 200 enterprises in Heilongjiang province.
 
These enterprises have contributed more than 600 million yuan in tax revenue for Heilongjiang and employed more than 8,000 people through alumni enterprises, becoming the backbone of the province's comprehensive revitalization.
 
At the meeting, the Harbin Engineering University Alumni Enterprise Achievement Cloud Pavilion was officially launched, with nearly 1,000 alumni companies registering on it.
 
The pavilion displays and promotes the achievements of alumni enterprises and scientific research achievements that the school can promote in a comprehensive manner.
 
It provides a new window for alumni enterprises, teachers' scientific research and social cooperation, school scientific research work, and students' understanding of industry technical achievements.
