Boiler blowing of the No 2 waste heat boiler of the combined cycle power station project in Bin Qasim Town, Karachi City, Pakistan was successfully completed at 13:07 on Oct 6 local time.
The Pakistan power station is currently being constructed by Harbin Electric International Company Limited based in Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province.

Its purpose is to remove various sundries remaining in the superheater, reheater system and steam pipeline during the process from manufacture to installation in order to prevent damage to the unit during operation, improve the safety and economy of the unit and improve steam quality during operation.
The successful boiler blowing of the No 2 waste heat boiler is said to have laid a solid foundation for the official power generation of the facility.
