The 2022 China (Heilongjiang) International Green Food Industry Expo will be held in Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province from Nov 10-14 both online and offline.

The national food trade and industrial cooperation event has been successfully held 17 times since 2004.

This year's expo continues to be jointly held by the Heilongjiang Provincial Grain Storage Bureau and the grain storage bureaus of Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai, as well as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Sichuan and Yunnan provinces.

The expo will focus on jointly building a new model of grain production and marketing cooperation, displaying the new advantages of Heilongjiang's grain and oil products, enhancing the brand influence of the production and marketing cooperation platform, and expanding the new achievements of grain production and marketing cooperation.

This year's exhibition area includes a grain production, marketing cooperation and trade negotiation area. During the expo, traders, buyers and people from all walks of life are welcome to visit the exhibition area at any time to carry out project and trade negotiations.

To date, 21 provinces across the country have confirmed their participation in the expo. Meanwhile, more than 100 contracts were agreed with the intention to sign, with sales exceeding 10 billion yuan, a record high.

Heilongjiang province is a major agricultural province and a major grain production area in the country, and shoulders a major responsibility to maintain national food security.

This expo is expected to further promote the deep connection between Heilongjiang's modern grain production and the national grain market, build a modern grain industry system, and help the province's grain industry integrate into the new pattern of national high-quality development.
