The C919, China's first domestically-developed large passenger jet, made its maiden flight to the Harbin Taiping International Airport after a five-hour journey on the evening of Feb 8.
It was the first time that a C919 aircraft arrived in Harbin, the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province.
The aircraft landed in Harbin to finish an aircraft validation flight process. It simulated an entire flight operation process, including the dispatch and release, passenger boarding, pilot operation and maintenance.
It recorded various parameters of the C919 aircraft in typical route operation scenarios based on airline operating scenarios.
