Deals of intent worth 110m yuan signed at Harbin expo

Deals of intent for around 220 creative design projects with a total investment volume of over 110 million yuan ($15.83 million) were signed at the first Northeast Asia Art& Design Expo.
 
The expo was successfully held in Harbin, the capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, on May 7-10.
 
It featured a total exhibition area of 22,000 square meters and was divided into eight areas: Harbin creative design, domestic creative design, international creative design, a digital cultural creative exhibition area, a cultural and tourism integration creative exhibition area, and an arts and crafts creative exhibition area.

The expo attracted the participation of 378 government delegations and cultural agencies from China, as well as 35 cultural agencies and enterprises from 15 countries and regions.
 
It aimed to build a platform for the continued opening-up of the cultural and tourism industries in Northeast Asia, as well as related exchanges, cooperation and development.
 
Over the four-day period, more than 261,000 visits were paid to the expo's main and sub venues.
