The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the 2023 green manufacturing list on its official website.
 
A total of 38 factories and three green supply chain management companies from Northeast China's Heilongjiang province were selected, with seven green factories from Harbin New Area among them.
 
In order to implement the "14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) for Industrial Green Development" and the "Implementation Plan for Carbon Peaking in the Industrial Sector," the list aims to continuously improve the green manufacturing system and contribute to achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals in the industrial field.
 
This year's list of green manufacturers has been recommended by the provincial industry and information technology department and reviewed by experts.
 
In accordance with "Heilongjiang Province's Policies and Measures for Promoting Industrial Revitalization," the province supports the green transformation of enterprises.
 
A one-time reward of 1 million yuan ($137,000) will be granted to companies that have been awarded the national-level green factory or green supply chain management company titles in the previous year.
