Harbin Grand Theater Art Festival begins

The third Harbin Grand Theater Art Festival was unveiled on Oct 1 in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, and will run until Dec 31.
During the two-month period, around 50 performances involving opera, ballet, symphony concert, chamber music, piano solos and children's plays will be staged at Harbin Grand Theater.
The art festival will feature three classic ballets performed by the Kremlin National Ballet Theatre, the Swan Lake, Pirates and Snow Girl. It will also feature performances from the Juilliard String Quartet and Vienna Boys' Choir.
At the opening ceremony of the Harbin Grand Theater Art Festival, classic opera performances by Hubei Provincial Opera Theater took place, evoking a warm and festive atmosphere.
