An exhibition of woodcuts depicting the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) during World War II is held in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province. The exhibition was organized by Yang Daxin, a 94-year-old man who once held a three-day woodcut exhibition in January 1943 to instill an anti-war spirit into the Chinese people.
