Harbin Symphony Orchestra is a centuries-old orchestra. It has accompanied government delegations to perform in various countries, such as Vienna, Denmark and Greece. The orchestra integrates Chinese elements with the Western symphony and has become very popular with audiences.
Its predecessor was the Harbin Eastern Railway Symphony Orchestra composed chiefly by Russian immigrants in 1908.
