On Aug 8, a zither concert was held along the Songhuajiang River in Daoli district, Harbin, capital of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province.

Artists from China and South Korea demonstrated their mastery over classic folk music with their zithers, known as guzhengs in China and kayagums in South Korea.

As part of the 32nd China Harbin Summer Music Festival, artists from both countries played a Chinese folk favoriate “A Variety of Fresh Flowers” together, which brought rounds of fervent applause from the audience and served as a swooping finale to the show.
