The south square of Harbin Railway Station underwent renovations on Feb 12. Harbin Railway Station, which consists of the south and north station buildings, is undergoing its fifth period of renovations since 1955. Renovations of the station started in March 2017 to improve its facilities and restore the historical features of the station when it was first established in 1899. Currently, the north station building, the square in front of it, and the south station building has been finished.
